Happy Independence Day America! What a blessing to live in this Country and be a part of a unified yet so diverse group of people. All of us have different thoughts, ideas and actions. The sharing of our thoughts, ideas and actions - the collaboration and relationships is what makes us grow and stand strong together.

I love all the different citizens, the sharing of ideas and cultures, and the freedoms that we are blessed with in this Country. Freedom is not free, I am thankful that people stronger then me, took a stand and defended my rights and freedom.

10 Baptisms

This morning I had the privilege to attend a church service at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, WI. This church is associated with one of our LUMIN Schools - Concordia University School- Pilgrim Campus.
9 children and 1 adult from our school family were baptized this morning at that church service. What an honor and blessing to attend and be a part of the sacrament of Holy Baptism. May the Lord surround these newly baptized individuals with his love and forgiveness.

A new year with fresh possibilities and adventures. I like to say that there are no problems, only solutions. And what a better time to focus on this statement then the new year. I am not one for making resolutions but read some interesting blogs on picking a word or 3 words of items to work on during the year.

My words are Faith - Health - Tech

Focusing on my faith and gaining in my relationship with God.
Making my health a priority.
Increasing my tech knowledge, open to new ideas and concepts.
